Are you a TeamSnap customer? If you are using the Teams section in TeamGenius to build your rosters after tryouts, you are able to sync the teams to your TeamSnap account.

Note: You will need Commissioner access in TeamSnap to perform the sync.

The video above will show you how to sync your teams from TeamGenius to TeamSnap.

Below, we'll walk through these steps in detail.

Note: If you need to add players to teams in TeamGenius, follow the steps in our article, Team Placement in TeamGenius, before returning here.

Step 1: Select the TeamGenius teams to sync to TeamSnap

Hover over Teams in the top navigation menu, then click Manage Teams.

Click the button Sync teams to TeamSnap.

Select the teams you want to sync to TeamSnap and press Continue.

Optional: Add in the manager for each new team to push to TeamSnap. Type in the first name, last name, and email. Then press continue.

Step 2: Select the TeamSnap Division

Select the division you want to sync the teams to in TeamSnap and press Sync Teams to TeamSnap.

Note: This will only come up the first time you sync teams with TeamSnap. If you update the roster and sync the team again, it will automatically update the team within the originally selected division.

Step 3: Review your team details in TeamSnap

Once the sync is completed (which can take a few minutes), you will see a confirmation message in TeamGenius.

Navigate to your TeamSnap account by clicking the View in TeamSnap link below each synced team. This will take you directly to the Team's homepage in TeamSnap.

The details from TeamGenius that sync to TeamSnap are the player's first name, last name, email address and profile photo (if taken in TeamGenius). All other information will need to be added from within TeamSnap.

Note: You will need to invite players to join the team from TeamSnap.
