If a player has aged out, moved to another organization, or you are starting a new season, you may want to archive players to remove them from your active player count.

Note - You cannot "delete" players in TeamGenius. If you move a player to an "Archived" status, they will not count towards your subscription and are essentially deleted.

You can only bulk archive players if you are less than 30 days from renewing your subscription. Click on "My Account" in the right-hand menu to find your current subscription Renewal Date.

To archive individual players, go to the Manage Players page by clicking on your name in the upper right-hand corner and select "Manage Players" from the drop-down menu.

Click on the drop-down arrow to the left of the player profile image (or image placeholder) and select "Archive Player" and search for the player by typing their name in the search bar at the top.

If you need to view an archived player or wish to restore that player, click on "Archived" at the top of the table.

Click on the drop-down arrow to the left of the player name and profile image (or image placeholder) and select "Restore Player"

To Bulk Archive Players, go to Manage Players in the upper right hand menu.

Click on the gear icon in the upper right button menu, then click on Archive All Players. This will give you a fresh slate for the new season.

Note that if you import a player that has been archived, they will be restored automatically with all of their information.

You can also archive players when archiving assessments.

To archive an assessment, go to the top right of the screen and click on the System Administrator's name. This will show a drop-down menu. Click on MANAGE ASSESSMENTS.

You will now see a list of all of your assessments. Select the assessment in which you have non-scored players who you wish to archive. Go to the far right on the line of that assessment and click on the circle with the down arrow in it. You will get another drop-down menu. Select ARCHIVE ASSESSMENT. (For more on Archiving Assessments, visit How to Archive an Assessment (delete)

A dialogue box will open, and you will see an option to include players. Check that box.

The dialogue box will update to show you how many players may be archived and how many may not. Only players who have not been scored in your current contract year may be archived.

Hit the black ARCHIVE button. At this point, both the assessment and the non-scored players have been archived.
